Mobile-friendly Job Portal 📱

Recent updates made to the Job Portal were not, at the moment, mobile-friendly. This has been rectified in the latest update that introduces responsive views for these designs:

Option to include holidays in Attendance Request 🙋

Vishnu VS from the community introduced a feature that introduces an 'Include Holidays' checkbox in the Attendance Request form that allows users to bypass the holiday validation while creating Attendance records. This enhances the flexibility of the system by enabling manual attendance marking on holidays when required. With this feature, employees can also apply for compensatory leave if they work on a holiday.

Payroll

Salary Component & Salary Structure 💰

Salary Component & Structure have been enhanced with features such as:-

Syntax highlighting and autocompletion for conditions & formulae:

Option in Salary Component to sync condition & formula updates with preexisting Salary Structures:

Issuance of warnings for when Salary Components are created without setting Accounts:

Payroll Flow 🌊

The general flow involved in creating Payroll Entries has been facilitated with the introduction of 'Create' buttons pointing to the next step of the process. You can now navigate through the following DocTypes seamlessly:

Option to configure your own Salary Slip Email Template 📩

Kitti U from the community has contributed a feature that allows an Email Template to be used for Salary Slip emails in case you find the current standard "Please see attachment" message to be too raw. 😁

Apart from these, we have also worked on fixing numerous bugs in Expense Claim, Leave Management, Payroll, and more. You can find the complete changelog for January's releases here.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for more and star us on GitHub if you like what we do :)
